Stir Fry Pork

Not knowing what to eat as I was very tired lately due to all those budget planning and with additional responsibility in my work, asked one of the Thai guy to cook for me.

Simple meal but kinda dry if you only had this with white rice. Besides, I'm trying not too take in too much carb and that basically means no rice for me.

Easy enough to cook with these ingredients

Pork Strips
Long Beans
Onion
Garlic
Chilli
Fish Sauce
White Pepper
Rice Wine
Chicken Broth
spring onion

marinate the pork with fish sauce, white pepper and rice wine for about 30 minutes. heat up wok , add a little oil, sauteed the rest of the ingredients till fragrant and add the pork. keep on frying till cook. season if need be.

Simple right ? thats my lunch........

2.5 down....5 kg to go......ouch!

Why is it so difficult to lose weight ?

Cheers !

  2. Well, losing weight is not about NOT eating. It's about eating. I am trying to lose fats too. I'm not overweight but I don't have enough lean muscles and too high fats. So I gotta cut down on whites and start eating meat and protein but shouldn't ignore carbs completely. Well, let's eat healthily together then. :)

  7. all the way, Mike, i echo slurp, "go, go, go" - and no matter what they say about how bad Atkins is, the last time I tried to cut off all processed carb from my diet, it did help somewhat but such fierce measures should only be done for a short period of no more than 2 to 3 weeks before you go back to a normalized but reduced carb diet.

  10. FC: Made the Stirfry pork the other day, not bad! I may back off the fish sauce a bit next time as it was a bit salty, but the dish had a grest flavor.
