FooDcrazEE cook - Fried Rice

Went back to my room kinda early and was chatting with `smacker and steelrage in MiRC #Malaysia and that faggot `smacker suddenly said, he's hungry. Diu, after my work out, was feeling hungry too.

Ransack the fridge and i forgotten i had steamed some rice for my dinner, cant remember when and I think it is about 3 days old liao. Who cares ? With not much things in the fridge, simplified the fried rice lor.....

Saw some Wolf Berry and remembered that Greenapple uses this berry to fry her vege. Apa lagi took out some and soaked them in H2O. Egg, baby carrot and Kikkoman. Oh! I forgotten some oil too, thought of using butter but nah! wont be good for the wolf berry.

Peel some garlic about 3 cloves,i used the whole clove and sauteed them till fragrant. Cracked the egg, fry them up, chucked in the baby carrot and pour some kikkoman in. Next is the rice, dump them in and just flip the pan till all well mix. Too lazy to use wooden spoon or spatula. Go ahead if you want to say I'm trying to show off. Maybe I am - chuckle. Why not, i got the skill, right ? hahahahahaahahahaha! Lolz!

Add in a pinch or 2 of crushed black pepper and few dash of kikkoman. We are done...

Then i remembered we still have sambal that my neighbour made for us - yeah - the actual sambal made from dried shrimp and ikan bilis chopped and then sauteed till fragrant with all the spices.

Look at the pic and you will see the sambal on the side of the rice. Wish I remembered earlier, then I can do a sambal fried rice. Stupid me....

Cheers !

*lol* Even if the rice has gone bad, you still won't suffer stomachache because the spicy sambal kills the bacteria. That's my theory!!!! Hahahaha...

Tazz,

Mind u, the rice is still fluffy. Precisely what i had in mind too, about the sambal - killing all the bacteria.....hehehehehe!

Looks good even if the rice is 3-days old *lol* As long as it doesn't turn sourish, it's all good :)

Hi,

I always cook enough rice to stir fry the following day... never kept it that long though. Buy yeah, i guess the sambal was a great compliment to it. LOL!

Hey, is there a chance your neighbour can share the recipe? he he.

Very nice - maybe you can ask the chefs to add wolfberries in the fried rice. I am sure the idea will take off in the restaurant.
