Ah Ma Kopitiam
Located at Bandar Baru Klang and I only knew about this place when my younger sis told us about it. I didnt snap any picture except the front just because they dont allow me to.
Anyway, they have limited menu which comprises of Hainanese Chicken Rice - prepared as usual except for the rice. The rice was prepared like those in Malacca - Rice Ball. My dad and I both had the same thing and I have to order extra for my 6 yrs old niece. She managed to finish all the chicken and 2 of the about 3 inches size rice ball. Thats a lot of food for a kid. Nothing fancy about this dish and I guess that will be the only time I go there.
My wife, Carmen, had a bowl of Curry Laksa and it was good. At least one of the food item is good, eh ? The younger niece Elena had half a bowl of the Fish Ball Noodle Soup. Again the taste is err........not to my taste and just bland.
We ordered for 3 Chicken Rice, 1 Ah Ma's Curry Laksa, 1 Chicken Soup Noodle with fishball and some beverages, For takeaway, 2 pieces of their Fried Chicken and 3 rice ball @ RM0.70 each
Total bill came to RM52.50. Kinda pricey for a so so meal.
Heard that the coffee was good there but that was after I left that place. If you wanna try, here's the addy

ReplyDeletewah RM52.50! agree with u, pretty pricey. maybe they don't allow you to take photo becoz they afraid you will "steal" them hehehe ...
ReplyDeleteI almost hate trying new restaurants because you never know how good the food will be. I have had some bad experiences. You have to wonder how some places stay in business with no repeat customers. It is to the point where I would soon as try cooking the dish at home so I can make adjustments and atleast I know what went into the dish.
ReplyDeleteeh, but they say they have been in bizness since 1932 wor. Reminds me of the place called my mother's chicken rice.
