Practical Class - Lunch

Looks like my clasmate is giving us a fierce competition . Not really but wonderful food cooked and sort of present.. For their first course, they came out with Aubergine, Tomato and Mozarella Mountain..layered aubergine, tomato and mozarella with olive oil and seasoning, baked in oven and topped with pesto sauce - homemade .......only using basil fresh, olive oil, garlic and parmesan...

They screwed up the first display and then change to what Eternity called Cat's Paw Presentation.

See the pesto on the salad....The sauce is just tomato sauce - freshly made and not KETCHUP please....

For soup, a change with additional ingredient - Cream of Brocolli and Cheese ...kinda err...creamy...Chuckle

Garnish with thin slice of baguette and fresh thyme....

For the main, Pan Fried Salmon with Peach Salsa, Sauteed French Bean and Carrot topped with Hollandaise Sauce ( again freshly made )

Not bad but kinda messy as the plate was small.

Dessert - Fusion - Coconut Creme Caramel

Different angle of picture. Garnish with Sliced Peach, Chocolate Sauce and Caramel.

Will be having my day off again and will be busy with certain things. Hope i have the chance to cook and then blog about it...till then

cheers !

Salmon dishes can never have gravy, can they? I love them but they are always too dry.

salmon can have gravy...try hollandaise or even curried hollaindaise. What about bechamel sauce with or without flavour..

Thanx all for dropping by,...
